Practicum Students
Each year we work with clinical
psychology doctoral students who have shown an exceptional
record of achievement for a year-long practicum which enables
the student to enhance their psychological testing and
assessment skills. We are very pleased to announce that three students from the Minnesota School
of Professional Psychology at Argosy University have joined us for
the 2007-8 academic year:
Nicholas A. Culp is currently earning
his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of
Professional Psychology at Argosy University. He completed his
undergraduate education at Western Michigan University and the
University of Arizona. His clinical experience includes work in
home-based treatment for mental retardation and schizophrenia. His
current areas of interest include clinical neuropsychology, and
disability and rehabilitation examinations.
Jennifer Jordan is earning a doctoral
degree in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of
Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Her clinical
experience includes providing therapy and assessment services in a
university counseling center and support services in a group-home
for individuals with mental illness. Her current interests include
the long-term effects of violent and sexual crimes and personality.
Rachel Levitsky completed her undergraduate work at
Macalester College. She has worked at a school for young children
with severe autism in Chicago, as well as one in Minneapolis for
children with special needs. She is currently working toward her
doctorate in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of
Professional Psychology at Argosy University. In the future, she
hopes to work with survivors of torture. She is also interested in
schizophrenia and dissociative disorders.
