King
Dr. King earned her
doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan
University in 2008. She completed her internship at Hennepin
County Medical Center (HCMC) and postdoctoral training at the
Minneapolis VA Medical Center where she received extensive
training in the assessment and treatment of posttraumatic stress
disorder (PTSD). She has psychological and neuropsychological
assessment experience with a variety of populations, including
veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injury (TBI) as well as
children and adults with learning disabilities and attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

treatment for trauma patients. Conducted initial assessments
using the CAPS, SCID I, BDI, and BAI and re-assessments at
one-month and three-month follow-up intervals.

Performed weekly neuropsychological
assessments with adults and elderly patients for problems
ranging from learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety or

integrated reports for use in treatment planning. Conducted
career counseling in individual and group format with
severely mentally ill veterans focusing on skills training
